Nude pics back at Playboy magazine

Cooper Hefner, the magazine's chief creative officer and son of founder Hugh Hefner, tweeted the news on Monday saying it was "a mistake" to remove nudes from the magazine. The news comes a year after Playboy debuted its first issue without nude photos.


I predict the 1st centerfold in this Playboy mag reboot will get lots of publicity, much like the last nude centerfold (Feb 2016 issue)

Well it *was* a mistake to remove nudes but it's almost certainly too late to save the company.

They probably have a small-ish base of 50+ men who had subscribed to the nude version but what's the point without the nudes? Their subscriber base will continue to shrink...magazines in general are struggling and there's enough free porn on the interwebs that there's very little incentive to subscribe. Even if they get some hot celebrity that everyone wants to see, the pics will be freely available on a free site soon enough.

Playboy hasn't had nudes for decades.
It's been a subsidiary of Adobe for years showcasing intermediate photoshopping techniques.

I never thought Playboy was a 'sleeze' mag. Naked women do not a sleaze mag make.

I honestly can't remember the last time I bought a physical magazine. I went to buy one for a flight the other day and they are all 30 pages long with 20 pages of ad's while costing 10 bucks. Ridiculous.
