Wprime does not work because it's requesting access to an untrusted party in a suspicious manner. [sic]

That's what they tell me when I try to use it.

In any case it looks like your uncore and bclk is much lower than mine. What's your latency look like? I'm almost in the high 8's on super-pi 1M!

Went through a bunch of W3540's pack date 05/07/2009 batch 3851A278. Stay far, far away! Won't even do 4GHz at stock voltage!

Have a 3520 (out of six) that's a golden egg and they can try to pry that from my cold dead fingers! 😛

4400 AIR COOLED 1.28V mid 70's LinX 6.1. Prolimatech Megahalems, Delta 3500RPM server fan, IC7 long skinny bead flattened with micro vibrator.

The fan is LOUD when up to full speed but only hits that when all logical processors are taxed hard. Using silent fan profile on Asus P6T7 and it actually works.

I have my Q8200 @ 2.8ghz at the moment (400x7, 1.2V) and I scored 14649.

It's kind of odd how 8 more MB of L2 cache only adds up to 10% more performance per clock.

is the 3540 an equivalent of the 940 or 950? Also, very nice chip and setup you have there rubicon! I bet you could go higher with a classified and a tad bit more vcore. What is the max BCLK on the classifieds, does anyone know? I figure that may also be limiting you due to the 210+ BCLK required for those speeds with a 21x multi.

Still, awesome chip! Much better than my 920 D0. I bet yours could max around 4.8 if lucky! I know on evga forums a guy was selling a D0 cherry chip for $300 from a batch that was like top 5, said it could do over 4.5 with relatively low vcore.

still, I am happy with 4.2 GHz here, and a Q6600 at 3.6 which I am still tweaking, hoping to get lower vcore, it gets kinda hot still under the dark knight.

Make ur correct choice, boy!
PhII 555 unlocked 16697@3.6ghz

I'm a little confused. I have a PhII 955 @ 3.7GHz, but the first time I ran this bench, I had cpuz going and it never changed out of my 800MHz CnQ speed.

My first run (800MHz)
ALU: 3799
FPU: 4186
MT: 20782
Total: 14865

My Second run (3700MHz)
ALU: 6610
FPU: 7193
MT: 21582
Total: 16393

It only increases by 10% when my clock goes from 800 -> 3700 MHz?

A laptop cpu just for lulz: T9300 @ 2.53GHz scores 8808

Which is strange as it is more or less on par with the E6x00s clocked higher than 3GHz on the first page.

E3200 at 3GHz: 10272.
i5/750 at 3.3 GHz: 21054.

E3200 dual-core at 3Ghz scores that high? Wow. I built an AMD Athlon II X4 630 2.8Ghz quad-core rig for my friend, and it only scores 12,500 or so.

Should have built him the E5200 dual-core and overclocked it, I guess. 😛
