Nuclear bomb found, you have 15 mins to GTFO

Suppose you're working on the 30th floor of a skyscraper in a major city. A nuclear bomb has been found in the vicinity(less than a mile) and the bomb squad is unable to disarm with 15 mins left. An evacuation notice is issued... you hear the sirens and airhorns, the city is in chaos, everyone is scrambling, it's every man for themselves. You assume the blast radius would be 10 miles at the least. What do you do? GO!

Revision:

Since most people would give up and die, let me revise...what's the least amount of time you would need to get clear of the kill zone and how would you do it?

I go more than 10 miles away. Basically I drive as far as I can before the explosion.

Start running! and hop into a subway terminal at the last second

I would dive at the last second when it went off, because that always works in action movies.

I'd take the stairs, and make my way to the parkinglot, take the secondary exit and take side streets away (sidestreets because highway is really close to my work that it would no doubt be packed)

woops... i thought of it as if I am at work (6th floor)

I'd attempt to make my way into the basement, assuming a 30+ story building has several lower levels and possibly a bomb shelter.

15 minutes? Unless there's a choppa waiting outside or an old Lead Lined Fridge in the room, make Peace with Its' Noodly Goodness or just hug the Bomb for minimum pain.

Best solution......Get inside a fridge.

Trust me, it works. I saw it in an archaeology documentary.......

The thing I worry about going underground is if I get stuck there due to collapsed buildings and debris and otherwise unable to find a way out or be rescued before I run out of oxygen or nourishment.

Try my best to get below ground level but given the options I'd probably not have any luck making it to some where in time.

I would first get a cup of coffee, shut down my PC, put on a coat then walk towards the bomb and start masturbating and when it's time, I will EXPLODE.

Grab the Blue line out to O'Hare. Since the train would most certainly be full the operator could bypass most of the stops and easily clear the danger area.

I go into a bank vault and after the explosion I come out as the only one left, but find tons of books I can read to keep myself occupied.

Cool thing about the US is there are still a ton of fallout shelters left over from the 60's. The basement of any building from the 60's or before will work. 1ft of concrete should shield you, and if it's something that was "just discovered", it's probably going to be a really small nuke. Driving in the car is the WORST thing. You risk radiation and flash burns.

Here's a cool little tool to play with. Nuke your friends!
