I went on a trip to Seattle and seen a sign for a computer store liquidating for forclosure. Naturally I had to go in and see what goodies I can muster up. To my disappointment there was nothing in there that caught my interest. Mainly it was a bunch of printer ink's and network cables, sadly I missed all the good stuff. Just as I was about to walk out I decided to take a look in the software box. To my surprise there was 7 unopened boxxes of Starcraft Battle Chest for $.50 cents each, I eagerly gave them to my friends upon returning to my home town.
I was a heavy SC gamer back in the day, but never played BW. Took me a day or so to get back into the swing of things, but once I was back in the groove, I quickly beat the entire expansion in less then 3 days. A friend of mine who was better at the game then me back when we played called BS on me, that the only way I was able to beat Omega was to use cheat codes as he never yet managed to beat it. I told him I dont use cheat codes, but he still did not believe me.
All fine and dandy, we went on ahead to play against each other and found problems right off the bat. First off was we were running different versions of the game. So we all patched to 1.14 and that solved the problem with play against each other. One other thing I noticed was the addition of a replay feature that was never there before. I tried searching for how to make replay files to show him how I beat Omega. But to this date I can not figure out how to. Anyone have any insights on how to make these .rep files so I may show him how I beat it?
