Nuance in Hard Sell Overdrive!

You won't believe this.....cause I did not, but yesterday, I actually got a call from some guy at Nuance! Not an email, not text, a PHONE Call.

He called to convince me to buy their new build and ditch the build I have! I am not kidding. He started giving me reasons. I stopped him.

I felt invaded and offended and so, atypically, was not as nice as is my default mode. I simply said I felt Nuance was being intrusive and too aggressive, it is alienating, and if I want to buy the newest one, I will come to that decision all by my little self.

Struck me, for all their ambition and pushing, etc, at least MS doesn't ACTUALLY CALL you to convince you to upgrade to W8. See how blessings change over time?🙄

Has anyone ever heard of such?????? Are they this desperate??????

Edit: Forgot to mention, I read reviews of 12 on Amazon, and tons of people there say 12 is slower than 11 and BUGGY.

Soon, someone form Intel will call me and pitch a newer chip. This is totally Alice in Wonderland.

I have DNS12.5 and it runs fine, I use it every day for my work. Just saying.

Hi, thanks for sharing.....very different from Amazon reviews. May I ask, before you got the new one, did you run 11?

If so, do you think the new one is faster? Because, from the reviews, people say it is slower.

I just couldn't believe they called. Who does that????? It just turned me off the new one more.

I haven't gotten a call from them, but I did upgrade my PDF Pro suite from v7 to v8 and it is way faster, especially on large file conversions.......
