Nu Tech DDW-082 reads previous disc

I just bought and assembled a brand new P4 system. I got a DDW-082 DVD burner and the problem is that whenever I put a new disc in the tray, the contents of the previous disc display. I try to go to View | Refresh, but that will not show the new contents. I have to completely reboot for it to show the correct disc in the DVD drive. Any thoughts on this? I see there are 4 firmware updates on their site, but am new at this and don't know if or how I should go about updating. The update patches (numbers) seem to be out of order also, which has me confused. Any help would be appreciated.

To update the firmware, simply download the zip file, extract the files, and run the executable file inside. You just run it right from Windows. You can use Nero InfoTool to determine your current firmware revision.
