nu-tech ddw-081 firmware

SO, is this the firmware update (mentioned in the AnandTech roundup) that would add DVD-R(W) recording to the DDW-081? From the CDRLabs link, looks like the bx30 may be a little more official.

yea... the dvd-r firmware is coming from some chinese/taiwanese website. The firmware that is actually posted on nu's website does not add -r support.

I have updated to the b360 (-r) firmware but do not have -r media yet to test... but i hear some are people having luck with it. i think the 360 may be a leaked beta.... but who knows....

lemme know if any of you brave souls try it also! 🙂
