Hi,

what does the ntune.exe clear on windows startup ??
I have seen it listed using msconfig and I wonder what it does.

I think what it does is enable any tweaks you've done with nTune, in the background, without actually showing you that the program has started. I'm not sure, as I have this disabled within MSConfig.
