ntoskrnl.exe error BSOD

yeah...

getting this stupid BSOD when i try to boot up...

kmode exception handle something error...

with all these numbers..

the address is 80420114 base at 804000000
DateStamp: 4047db83 - ntoskrnl.exe

anyone know what causes this and how to remedy this?

is it the prommy cooled rig? 1. Check that evrything is firmly seated, heatsink/prommy and that the cpu voltage is not to low or high. 2. back down the overclock a little bit and see if if you still get the error message...

nope... not using my prommy...

fixed it...

went into safe mode with network support...

re-downloaded sp4 for win2k and installed it again...

computer booted up again! :)
