I've been getting this error trying to restore operating system to gateway laptop (450rog).

I did a google search for possible causes and found memory or bios should be the problem. I've tried 3 different memory sticks, new hard drive, and updated bios. Also, I have tried different operating system disks, but still get error.

Anyone have any other possible fixes to the issue?
