I would like the fastest and most economical file system available. I have Windows 2000 and could choose between either file system. I do a lot of gaming, but also a lot of multitasking. Which would be faster for my needs?

Fat16. If you cannot use the search function you probably shouldnt be here. 🙂

*Answer: FAT32 is suck, NTFS is what it is all about.

Why do this guys keep asking the same question over and over again.......

Don't they bother to even read the first thread on the Operating System topic?!?!
Man, don't they even do a google (<-insert other search engine) search???

What's up with people these days??? They want everything spoonfed into their mouth or something???

[PS: Woke up with a bad humor today, please forgive me and my bad english.....]

A better question would be why do we keep answering??? 😉

As AndyHui says: Read the FAQ. Afetr all this time he should have that post in Template form.

They dont even have to google it! All they have to do is scroll down the page a bit and see the other ~2 topics on it asked yesterday! 😛

Hell, a simple search on Anand-oogle for "NTFS" in the OS forum will give you a month's worth of reading. Google would probably kick that search out due to the fact they would need a separate server just to store the links with as many threads as we have here. 😛
