If you're going to dual boot the easiest way to do it is to start from scratch. Then install Win98 first - when you run setup make more than 1 partition instead of 1 big one (or use Fdisk on the 98 CD - no need for partition magic or other 3rd party software). Once 98 installs you can install XP on the 2nd partition and you can use FAT32 or NTFS. If you use NTFS 98 won't be able to see the data on that drive, but your XP will see the data on both C: and D:
