NTFS SDHC wont copy large files

alright, I just formatted my wonderful new SanDisk 16 GB micro SD card to NTFS so that i could move large files to it and i placed the SD card into my Phone (Samsung Galaxy Stellar) then i found out that the phone wouldnt support NTFS and i rooted the phone then downloaded paragon app to allow NTFS. now i am trying to download a 12.7 GB file to my phone and my phone repetively tells me that i do not have enough space on the card, when i have 14.1 GB free (according to phone, and Win 7 PC) please help.. this is aggravating.

Have you tried exFAT? Assuming your OS and applications can handle >4GB files, that should work. NTFS is on the experimental side of things.

🙁 There may not be any good options, in that case. Your phone can likely read EXT-series filesystems, but Windows can't (and the 3rd-party drivers suck--you'd do better to learn to use Linux directly, if the phone can read them).

sigh, well then that bsolutely sucks, thanks anyways... i dont know what i will do, maybe google will send out an update for android to allow exfat.. who knows.
