NTFS or FAT32 for gaming?

Before any you get bent out of shape, many of you do, for asking another NTFS or FAT32 question, I did search and I didn't find anything that specifically addressed gaming needs.

Yes I know NTFS if the better file system in most circumstances, but for many games that were written for FAT32 systems, does it make a difference?

Ok, call me a moron, I did find something but it's not exactly what I was looking for...I guess I'll stick to NTFS for a while.

Games don't know and don't care about the file system being used, since this is all handled by the OS.

The only thing you might notice is a very slight decline in read speads, because NTFS files have to be checked for permissions before they're opened. But other than that the games shouldn't care what the filesystem is at all, hell quake3 was written on Linux and I'm sure carmack didn't use FAT32 there =)

And if the game is reading/writing directly to your filesystem I suggest you stop playing that game immediately.
