NTFS is now RAW???

I had WInxp on my system and I decided to buy a 120 gig. I had formatted under NTFS. Then I reinstalled WInxp on my primary, which is 40 gigs, and now when it picks up my 120gig, it says its not formatted and its in RAW format.

Anyone have any idea how I can retrieve the info on the 120...since I backed up all my stuff on it. =*(

It's possible when you initialized the 120 on the other system, you made it dynamic. In Computer Management...Disk Management, right click on the 120 drive and import the volume.

you may have corrupted the mbr by mistake. Happened to me with floppies many times. The format changed to raw when the floppy was corrupted. Had to re-format and run scandisk. But you have HD so the case maybe different......
