NTFS FAT Dissappeared

Ok I was transfering files to a 200 GB Seagate IDE and got a "this folder or file is corrupt" message. Tried to run chkdisk and reboot, then the drive was gone all together. Somehow the NTFS FAT is gone. Thing is I was moving everything to it and then going to back it up to a second matching drive, so it has all my stuff. What do I do?

hook the drive upto another system - don't use that drive at all until then.

Use SPINRITE 6 to get your data back - sounds like it is just the right problem for this piece of software
