Okay here the situation. I running NT4 workstation on HP Vectra VE8 P3/450 how which has

Primary IDE 17GB Seagate ----> 1 partition 4gb (FAT) c:
Slave IDE 8.4 GB ----> 1 partition 4gb (fat) d:
Secondary IDE HP 9300
2nd Slave IDE Hitachi 32x

When I try to create a new folder on d:\ I get a error

"Unable to create new folder" parameter is incorrect.

When i try to create a text file it works and when i delete it.

I get this error message "The system was attempting to transfer file data from buffers to \device\harddisk1\partition1\recyceled\info. The write operation failed and only some of the data may have been written to the file"

*note the bios recogise it has 8gb has 4gb
