i just uninstalled a modem and uninstalled the remote access service (rasman.dll) from NT and when i reboot, i get the message that "rasman.dll is terminating abnormally" and i have to click ok to proceed. it's harmless, but it's just annoying. i've tried removing the values from the registry file but NT reports that it is having trouble reading the key value, whatever that means. when i reinstall rasman, i don't get the annoying message, but then i get a bunch of dhcp errors in event viewer. the dhcp errors are so frequent that i have to empty my event viewer every now and then, and they only occur when rasman is installed. any ideas? i'm running NT 4.0 Server SP 5. my machine is a dual celeron 466, soyo sy-d6iba2, quantum atlas 3 18 gig, ibm ultrastar 9 gig, yamaha cdrw 2x2x6, samsung dvdrom, 256 micron memory, asus v6600 deluxe, and the modem is a modem blaster 56k from creative.
