Hi all first post and not sure if it the correct place to post it, if its in the wrong place then feel free to move it, no one has been able to solve this so far and I'm hoping you good people here can help
Not sure which of the following I have, it is either the Intel N440BX or the MB440BX server, this is what is displayed on boot and hopefully you may well be able to work out which board it is: -
PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0
Nights0.86b.0057.p06.9809040810
MegaRAID Express
5 x 8682MB SCSI Seagate Hdd's
When I go to install NT it complains of not being able to find the hard drives, this is what happens when I try to install from the NT CD-ROM.
Setup has recognised the following mass storage devices in your computer
IDE CD-ROM (atapi 1.2) / PCI IDE controller
Symbios logic C810 PCI SCSI host adapter
If I hit enter at this point I get, setup did not find any hard disk installed in your computer, setup can not continue
When I try to load the MegaRAID NT drivers I get, The SCSI adapter, CD-ROM or special disk controller you specified is not installed in your computer
I need to know where I'm going wrong, could someone explain how to get NT to find the HDD's
Regards
Chet
