Seems on warm boots only my computer cannot find my first drive, when
loading everything is find until the promise card bios load and then when
listing devices I will get: D0 Not installed D1 Not installed D2 Not
Installed D3 WD , which is my second hard drive which I use for backup
only.. after this appears I get NTLDR is missing and I have to ctrl/alt/dlt
to reboot and it always boots fine the second time, finding both hard
drives.. This never happens with a cold boot only warm and doesn't happen
all the time, around 70% of the time.. I reset all the connections and the
promise card in case of a loose connection but still happens... any idea
what is causing this glitch?? I'm Running XP Pro....

The post is a little hard to follow but it sounds like more a problem of your motherboard or promise card not finding the hard drives and not really operating system related at all. If it can't find the drive it surely can't find ntldr to boot up, as for fixing the mobo though I'm sorry but I really don't know what it could be. Have you tried searching the mobo or promise web sites to see if there is a fix available?
