With the limited information provided there are two possibilities that spring to mine:

1) Make sure the partition in Fat16 and not Fat32.

2) If installing on a non-intel chipset make sure any required drivers are installed.

He was actually posting this message for me.
So, here's the details...

It gave this message after makeing the three disks and copying the files to the hard drive (which was just formated as a 2 GB FAT16 partition). It rebooted and scanned the floppy for a boot device then went to the IDE-0 for a boot device - it said ok. - then gave me the error of "Load Error! Press any key to reboot" I've never seen this error before. Anyways, after many reformatings and repartitioning, pylorns had me fdisk /mbr and try again. This time it worked like a charm. I guess something in the master boot record got messed up somehow. It's a fairly new computer - P-III 733, 256 MB, 20 GB, etc... They just needed NT put on it for a special instrument in a chemistry lab. Everythings working now. Thanks for the help!
