NT Gurus i need help!! Loggin ERROR!!! PleASE

Win NT gets an error every time i try to loggin w/ a new domain loggin name. It says profile not found...but profiles already on it like admin will loggin?? i can loggin w/ admin on the pc and on domain, but if i try to loggin w/ "test1" then it gives me the mssg. Basically any loggin name which has not been used on the pc b4 will not be able to loggin. Im confused help

the profile must be created while you are on the domain. Make sure you are connected AND you are actually logging into the domain. Are you running roaming profiles?

thanks guys did every1 know that u need a "default user" profile on the pc?? damn i deleted that and then copied one in adn it worked.

why would you delete that? Thats like going through the system32 directory and deleting things that "don't look important"

BWAHAHAHAHHAA!!

I had something similiar happen when a client called to have me come out and look at his windows machine. When I asked if he had been doing anything to the machine prior to the problems, and he said he had been cleaning out the "windows" folder by putting all the files and directories into separate self made folders. One such folder which contained 98% of the contents of his "windows" directory was a folder named "Crap I dont know."

LOL, it is amazing how often it happens. I know someone who found out what regedit was and he decided to clean his registry. That Windows install never booted again...
