NT errors on start-up.......

I'm running NT4 (SP6). I ususally only shut down my computer on the weekends but every time I power the system up I get some kind of error. Some examples are:
Config_Init Failed
Last Know Good Missing or Corrupt

I hit the reset a couple times and everything works fine. I'm afraid to shut the thing off!!

Any ideas??
