NT Domain leftovers

I just upgraded our domain from an NT 4.0 domain to Active directoy on Windows 2003.
Everything is working fine. There is just 1 annoying little item.

In NT Server manager there was a comments field where you could put comments about
the computer accounts. These comments didn't carry over into active directory computer accounts that i can see but they are still showing up when you browse the network.

Does anyone know where this info would be stored?
Our old PDC and BDC are powered off (Active Directory is still in Interim mode however)

Are you sure they didn't carry over? In dsa.msc, when you double click on a computer account make sure you check the description field on the first tab.

Yes, the description is the first place I looked, and nothing is entered.

Anybody?? This is really bugging me.. there has to be a way to remove this information.

check the computer itself. You can add comments on the computer itself, in the system properties

You can still use the Windows NT 4.0 Server Manager to view and edit this information. This information is actually stored on the machine and not in AD. This KB article will show you how to change this information on a Win2k or Win2k3 machine.

I just found this artcle also. I'm removing the comments now through computer management remotely.
