NT cant find my modem

how can i get NT to detect my modem? it looks on com1 and com2, but win98 says it's on com3. How can i get ti to look there?

get on the web site for the modems vendor and download current NT drivers. one of the most frustrating aspects of NT is its poor handling of drivers (very manual process)

If you have a Winmodem, it won't work in WinNT4. You need a hardware modem.
