NT Cannot access 2000 share edit:solved....

I have a windows 2000 server that has some shares on it. Window XP and Windows 2k can see the shares just fine, but when I try the same for windows nt, I get an "access denied" error message. I am using the same user profile (which is an domain admin) to test this.

Anyone hear of a problem like this? I tried to google it, but I haven't found anything that applies or just the question and no real answer.

well, point taken, I had also already posted in that too, just wanted some extra coverage. In anycase solved.

what was the problem? share not enabled properly? (although i think only xp turns off sharing by default... or uses that simple crap)

It seemed to have some corrupt security information. I ended up fixing it by removing the file and print sharing service and all shares and then putting them back. Then I made sure the dfs entries were right and after that, all was well again.
