Moderator: Please don't lock!

I don't believe I violated a forum rule by posting the contents of a mass mailing that is available to anyone who signs up for the directdeals.com weekly newsletter.

Again, this newsletter is available to anyone who goes to their home page and signs up for free (not some carefully targeted set of customers like Staples or Officemax)!

If I have violated a rule, please lock the thread and accept my sincere apologies. I greatly appreciate my access to this forum and would never intentionally violate any rule and jeopardize my access.

Maybe the "hot deal" here is to go to directdeals.com and sign up for their weekly newsletter!

I like Directdeals; this is a nice bargain. Although that looks like a reliable Ebayer, I ordered my NSW 2001 from DirectDeals and everything went smoothly, so if i get NSW 2002, that's who I'll go back to. I may grab this cause I'm upgrading to Win XP, and I don't think NSW 2001 is compatible, or so I've heard. Good deal, thx. (Ignore the wanna be mods)

you people do realize that "(CD only)" mean it's NOT LICENSED right???
it is literally just the CD ... you would still have to buy the license...

<< you people do realize that "(CD only)" mean it's NOT LICENSED right??? >>

really? i thought it means that it comes w/ basically a sleeve (plus cd-key, license inclusive) and the CD, but none of the fancy packaging and manuals that would come with the retail package. I'm not sure why they'd just be selling the CD at such an expensive price if it didn't come with a license.

Loudone: You are correct. You would not have top buy the license separately. It comes with a "key" number, license inclusive..
