nsk2400 mod help/advice

i am building a htpc using NSK2400. I want to mod the 5.25" bracket to have IR receiver installed inside. whats the best possible way? i dont want to spend too much to get one of those IMON or whatever... first thought was to get a black clear plastic bracket.. any ideas?

How about just drilling a small hole through it as a part of a design and epoxying the receiver behind it. Kind of like the cartoons where you'd look out from a hollow wall through a painting with removable eyes.

I second joe's idea though i might use just hot glue instead of epoxy. I have a tendency to like to change things around pretty often though.
