Is the point that it is a live animal being killed for food or is the point that it is a puppy, and an animal we in the US have for pets? Why should our culture of food and pets apply to other countries? Perhaps we should stop putting live lobsters in boiling water?

There is really no reason for people to be eating dogs. They are not starving.

Asian culture is odd.

People eat pigs and other animals. Why not Dogs.

That being said, eating dogs and cooking them alive are completely different issues.
