What was he doing? Maybe deburring or some other kind of quick clean-up work?

That process is pretty awesome, also. Hard to believe that can produce a polished wheel like that.

Could be a tool that has a patent pending? Specialized for the job perhaps?

Maybe they wanted to avoid showing a brand name on their video.
Forgot taping it over for the recording, and then it was easier to pixellize than to reshoot?

What the tumbler? Yeah it's great. Better than a DA or rotary polisher because it frees up a worker as it polishes.

Yeah, I'd just never seen a video of the process like that. I've seen people polish wheels without such equipment, and even with power tools, it takes quite a while to go from a flat machined look to a high polish.

I guess I just find it nifty that rocks/beads/whatever else they used can achieve those results. I figured there was at least going to be one final step with more typical 'polishing tools' involved.

edit: oh yeah, I noticed the first comment on the video...

Beautiful results but why is the Dynabrade/Suhner belt-sander pixelated?
