Why is having a tinfoil hat farfetched when its been proven that the NSA surveillance is far reaching and illegal?

Please provide technical details of how the NSA have introduced back doors into crypto tools or Android - as mentioned in the OP.

There's zero doubt the NSA will want to break all encryption (that is their job after all), but the reports thus far have not supported the claim that they've introduced back doors into Android or any other OS.

I'm saying its possible. I don't trust the NSA.
