Well this should bring out the partisan apologists out.

A dozen years of abuse and incompentence.

Remember this is what's given by FOIA which is not obliged to release all abuse information if it's deemed inappropriate for disclosure. That's a whole steaming pile of crap easily hidden.

Bush, Feinstein, Cheney, Obama and their supporters- Congratulations on your mission of deceit and outright lies accomplished.

Based on my limited reading so far, it seems like a lot of the abuses were from employees acting against policy (looking up things on their friends or loved ones). I'll wait for more analsys before I get more upset about a program I already feel is pretty much a violation of our rights.

I'm sure there's a lot of stupid. Now the problem is that a lot of stupid should not be possible without clearance. Further it appears that about half of the report is redacted. Some would be to make sure personally identifiable information isn't released, but we know that the report on the CIA was so heavily redacted that it was ridiculous by those who saw it. Then we have assurances that no abuses occurred by too many people and here we have direct evidence to the contrary. It's not a couple of "oops", it's more serious than that.
