I just got a Five Guys in my town about 2 months ago. I like it quite a bit but prefer In N Out. Five Guys wins with their fries since In N Out doesn't have cajun style but their burgers remind me of Burger King.

I want to go to your local Burger King.

Lololol peanuts everywhere. Shit is cooked in peanut oil. Fresh peanuts to snack on. Peanut shells everywhere.

Gf has peanut allergy. Were leaving. Lol

What a fail. This thread is a big letdown. Can we ban the OP?

I have only been there once and my buddy who tried it before said to order the fries well done so I did. I don't think they were Cajun fries though.

Interesting, I've never heard of 'fries well done'. Will have to give it a shot next time.

Shame there is no In and Out here :(

Five Guys is probably the best burger that I have tried so far, amongst chains.

I've had Five Guys here in LA County and in DC when I visited last year. Both times were meh.

Five guys is ok. i have gone 3 times and only twice was it good. The burgers are slightly over cooked and greasy as hell. but every now and then a good greasy burger is good.

Five Guys rules. I always get that raw/bloody aftertaste in my mouth when I eat at in and out. Five Guys has way better burgers.

Only thing in and out has going for it are the shakes.

Ha this is the worst knock on Five Guys I've ever read.... or is it the best? The peanuts win!

I like Five Guys slightly better than In & Out.

Little bacon cheeseburger (lettuce, tomato, green peppers, grilled mushroom, grilled onion, BBQ source, A1 source) + Cajun Fries + peanuts.

Never tried In& out as they are not convenient to me but Hardees has the best burgers overall.

I tried 5GB's once and it was not all that great, greasy, fries sucked.

In-N-Out Burger is on part with McDonald's or Burger King. It's fast food trash. The burgers are wimpy, cold and soggy most of the time. The service is on par with the other big chains, slow, rude, people who don't care about the food or the customer.

Five Guys, in my opinion, is the best "casual dining" burger you can get outside of making it yourself.

They won't do anything except overcook a burger no matter how you ask for it. They will only serve their burgers well-done, the reason it felt wrong because it's 4th-rate shit beef. That's why they overcook it, it's so bad they can't serve it medium-rare.

I doubt they would let the cooks serve an undercooked burger even if the customer asked, if said customer then got sick he/she could try to sue. Unlike steak, all of ground beef is exposed to air when it's in the grinder hopper so any pathogen that might be present will be mixed throughout..

5 Guys is probably the best cheap burger place I've visited. We have better sit down options like The Vortex, Flip Burger and Teds.

Homemade cooked on the grill with premium beef, fresh veggies, and a wheat bun.
Healthy and 10x better than any soggy mess they call a hamburger.

no one has said 'it costs 9 fucking dollars for a burger combo'. which is the only legit complaint about five guys.

if you don't like their fries you and your taste buds should kill themselves.

sure. I f i want to take the time i can make a hell of a lot better burger then nearly everyplace out.

but when out running errands and getting a burger in 5 minutes its not bad.

Five Guys is inconsistent. I could have a decent burger, then order the same thing a few weeks later, and it taste awful.
In N Out is awesome. And people can't handle that.
