National Public Radio has done a piece on independant labels being listed on the RIAA's affiliate list, despite not being members. Both, (Fat) Erin and Matt Jacobsen are quoted several times based on the difficulties Fat Wreck and Relapse (who was just taken off the list this month) had when they found that they were listed on the RIAA's website. This raises a question; how many of your favorite labels are listed on the RIAA's list, and how many of those labels aren't actually members?

quoted from http://www.punkhardcore.com

seeing their name (along with drivethru, among others) always seemed pretty strange to me...

anyway, i havent heard the audio yet.. probably will tomorrow morning

I see Nitro is also no longer listed as a RIAA member on their site. They used to be on there.
