NR041 router update...with a lot of fiddling, my friend and I got our routers to properly use 3Mbit.

Here's the weird thing: for me, disabling dmz host did it. That, or any computer without DMZ host gets 3Mbit+ downloads easily...and the computer with it gets serious ganked to less than half that. This makes no sense to me, since if anything, DMZ host should have LESS processing, but... strange. For hosting warcraft 3 games, etc, and general ease I'd prefer to be DMZ...I run a software firewall anyway and configure my port options there...

Figured I'd post about it and see if anyone might know why this happens.

Sounds like a goof in the firmware, if so nothing you can do about it until an update fix, check with the Manufacturer.
