I'd like to have a spray that smells like new rope. Petzl helmets have that scent also, and it lasts a lot longer than you'd expect.

There's a petrichor candle that I've always wanted to try but I suspect that most of that "smell" is humidity and temperature related.

I used to buy a couple "rain" and "ocean"scented incense sticks up in Delaware. It was the only place I knew where to find them. They were bulk packed, so the only thing I know about them is they came from India. The scent was abstract, but you definitely got the vibe of rain and ocean. I'd love to find those again.

I'd love a Home Depot candle. When my house was built, the basement smelled like Home Depot for a few months and it was awesome.

Nothing like the smell of the lumber section. I just pass through to enjoy the smell while I watch rich people actually buying the product.

Another store that has a peculiar smell is Staples. Ours closed a while back but any time I did go in there it reminded me of being a kid going there with my mom to get all my school supplies. It was a really nostalgic smell and sight, as the store barely changed since those days. First thing that would come to mind when the smell hits me is being glad the school days are over. I don't miss school but sometimes do feel nostalgic of those days.

The dead tree carcass has a different smell than the live trees.

But actually the smell of the forest is one smell that is also great. It really depends on the weather conditions too but sometimes it's just perfect, have to just stop and take a deep breath to enjoy the moment.

This is an amazing smell. Best in the early morning when the leafmould is stil damp but starting to warm up! But also in the high summer when you can smell sap and dried leaves.

Hmm. I do enjoy the smell of fresh asphalt, and even diesel exhaust . . . not fumes . . . just mild scent. But . . .I don't know . . . tire smell is too musty.

Every time I cut my lantana bush though . . . mmm, I just wish I could permeate my house with it. Why isn't lantana as popular as lemon verbena?
