Damn, just can't figure it out... I have three computers hooked to a network, which share a DSL line via a LAN/WAN router... I have a gaming system(Win98), server, and my wifes system(both win2k). When I want to play games on my gaming system, I keep get getting a short lag every few minutes(5-15 seconds), it gets really annoying when trying to frag...
I broke the network down, and hooked the router from the Lan port directly to the gaming system, and it works great. No lag... So, I'm thinking that maybe I have a problem with my hub, changed it out with a hub the same brand as the router... not dice...(still getting lag)... Everytime I go through a hub/switch it get this lag... anyone have any ideas for an optimiztion, or tweak...
