Actually that's one thing I could do, is shovel out where my deck will be. That's a LOT of snow, but if I can even drop it by a couple feet so in spring that part will melt faster so I can get started. Have plenty of indoor projects to do though. Really I keep thinking to myself I'll have all this extra time at home, but really I still need to work so it's just regular shift time off for me even with this pandemic.

I've been home rehabbing after surgery since Christmas, and then this SHTF.
My wife had cataract surgery and an emergency crown this week and is home, and likely will work from home when she gets cleared to work.
This is fucked, I say.

This morning the wife snuck out of bed, started the coffee maker. When I realized the scent of coffee was in the air I knew. But what I hadn't realized my wife's intentions to go work on her computer butt naked. Most people sit in front of a work computer worrying about not being casually dressed for conference calls. My wife went the other way entirely. It was good wake up scene, though.

People with cats seem to be having more fun doing cabin fever.

Admittedly, I work a lot from home because my employer allows it. My wife is a college professor and until last Friday went into the office four days a week, sometimes five. That afforded us time apart but now ... 24x7 and the heat is on. I just made the mistake of suggesting that she could listen to some music while making some exams and she put on Nine Inch Nails. Now I have that blaring through the house.

I'm avoiding my wife whenever I see her during the day. She's a bear right now having to do classes and bio labs online. That last is a real bitch. We do love each other but if I put NIN on right now... well she knows how to use my knives and sword.
