Donald Trump claimed Tuesday during an event with staff at his resort here that his employees are having issues with Obamacare

Which make people ask does Trump offer insurance to his employees?

Asked by a reporter after the event whether his employees have health care coverage through Obamacare, Trump replied: "Some of them. Most of them, no."

Now this guys chimes in to save his skin

Clarifying Trump's remarks, the general manager of Trump's property in Doral, David Feder, said "99% of our employees are insured through our hotel."
"Over 90%, without a doubt," he added.
Feder said all of his employees who work more than 30 hours a week are eligible for the company's private health insurance coverage and that he presumed only part-time or seasonal workers would have to go through Obamacare exchanges. He said the company "picks up 70% of premiums."

Two people, two consistent statements. What is your issue?

Got to make mountains out of mole hills...YUUUGE mountains. Don't want the focus off of Trump because then people might have to look at Hillary.

Trump claimed all his employees have problems because of Obamacare then when asked said that most weren't even on it. Having to refute your own factually incorrect rhetoric literally right after spewing it might be considered embarrassing to some people.

is this a defense of Trump?

No. But it does get tiring seeing so many pedantic hits on Trump. There are plenty of larger issues that he has than to nitpick the smaller things. It makes for Trump diarrhea and no one wants to see that. The same goes for Hillary. People hitting her for stupid little things need to give it up...I know they won't though.

True, he should have clarified by adding "some". Now that that is out of the way, is it still a huge issue in the world of Trump debacles?

I am picking this topic to bitch and moan because I have had enough of the Hillary and Trump hate. With these last two weeks, it is going to get exponentially worse for both candidates in terms of crappy information dumped about them. I am not going to argue whether it is going to be true or not, deserved or not. Just done looking at it.

This is stupid. He is running for public office. "nitpick the smaller things" are basically why corners of the internet like this were created. That doesn't make the issues important on their own, but surely suggesting small things shouldn't be talked about because they're small is simply stupid.

Not a HUUGGGEEE issue just humorous since Trump tells some whoppers. Honestly I had a good laugh at this a few months ago.

Of all the things worth criticizing Trump on, I think this statement is not one. When asked for clarification, it was provided.

This is opinion stuff so I'm not going to say you are wrong. I do feel if Trump wasn't challenged his narrative would be all my employees are having trouble.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were, but I do prefer not to judge people for what we think they might do. In this case, there is plenty of what he has done to judge him on. While that makes us more confident in our predictions, it's still a prediction.
