Now this is some serious overclocking.

That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Wow, these guys are HARDcore. Spending over $1000 for a single overclock? Wow! I have like the same setup as he does, but my 566 is better. I wonder how high I could get?

Maybe they should have kept the motherboard out of the fluid, it sounds like it got too cold...
 
Has anyone read "Mission Submersible 2"? they take off where the original experiment first failed. it gets even crazier!
 
by the way...the is another interesting OC article at:

The article is called "The Coppermine Goldmine," in which the same Celeron 566 used in the "Mission Submersible" experiment is OCed to 1148 mHz. thats a 102% OC! the article can be found toward the bottom of the web page above...

i havent read the article yet...just stubled across it a few weeks back and happened to remember that it was there...
 
Haha, good call, NOX. Too bad none of this stuff is something you could rely on for anything other than simple tests...
