i've never seen a rebate processed that fast, wtf, usually its like 6 mos before i see anything

Because you think they actually want people to take them up on rebates?! No way! They want it to be as long and painful as possible so maybe you'll not even bother with it next time.

We have two Amazon rebates for a total of $400. They were sent 11 weeks ago and in the last two weeks we have called they have said there is a check number, but they still haven't been sent out. I'm sure the expiration date on the check is going to be set to 3 months after the initial check number was issued, though. :roll:

still waiting for my plextor rebate check from last october. they promised to send it to me soon after faxing in the information the 3rd time. let's see if i get it. hell of a lot of work for 50 bucks, but it's the principle that counts.
