Then what are you supposed to do if the Flag touches the ground? Toss it in the trash?

Proper disposal of the flag requires immolation. Burning to desecrate the flag (or desecrating the flag in general) is what the AL is fighting to stop.

I, for one, am happy that he's choosing to display his distaste for Americans by burning our flag instead of crashing a fuel/people-laden airliner into tall buildings in New York. It's a shame he caught himself on fire, though. 🙂
 
I dont' think anyone should be allowed to burn the flag. Then again, i'm an emotional dude. i get mad when i see the flag touching the ground.

since when is a piece of cloth more important than a person's life?

i am as patriotic as the next american, but jesus christ, it's not that big of a deal. that could be a picture of me, and i wouldn't give a damn. so they hate us, big whoop.

The ones who hate us, are for the most part the ones whe try to kill us and teach their kids to hate us. So I am glad to see him on FIRE. 😀
