Not really, it is a city difference. I know during Chicago Blackhawks games we get louder as the United States National Anthem is sung. By the end your ears are ringing, it is actually really cool.

Maybe that happens here in America too, I dunno... but most usually fall silent, listen, and stare at the flag.

You are losing sight of the fact this was the last home Winnipeg Jets game ever, with the singer who had been doing their anthems for a long time. Most games I go to here in Vancouver, the fans sing alojng the best they can and cheer at the end, but the one posted was a very special circumstance.

R.I.P. Jets. :(
