I remember seeing something about a condition where your skin is not attached to your flesh as it should be. Maybe he's got that.

Too late, I already saw it, I have two of them. I just think that stretching the facial skin is slightly strange, and self mutalating.

The same way contortionists do what they do...with a lot of help from a congenital or genetic condition. There is a condition where the skin is very elastic and is not well 'attached' to underlying subcutaneous and connective tissue. These people can stretch their skin two or three times the length of the rest of the population.
