what new internet activities have you picked up??

I've started listening to internet broadcast radio, (something I tried on 56k, but was un acceptable). It's cool listening to another cities radio station while I'm surfing.

I've been building a nice little music library with Napster. Found a lot of songs that I liked but would never pay for a whole cd of i.e. one hit wonders (see Gary Wright: Dream Weaver)

Heh, I've been wondering the same thing...got Starband a couple days ago, and other than surfing the HOCP babe-thread and downloading 80mb demos in 25 minutes, I haven't found much else to do...

I've had cable for almost 3 years now (since Optimum Online launched in Connecticut, USA). I picked up a few new activities, such as:

Internet Radio
Flash sites
Broadband broadcasts
Broadband TV
Movie trailers
Downloading every half a second
Much more web browsing, especially of forums
Many more online games since I now have sub-50 ping fulltime, and often sub-20 ping
Downloading &quot;software&quot;
Downloading and listening to mp3 files a lot

Ah... I love broadband...

More generic browsing and demo downloading.

On message boards, I set the max number of threads viewable since it doesn't take as long to grab the whole page...

More willingness to upload software or exchange files with friends.

More willingness to run 24x7 distributing computing projects...

Helping people bombard ticketmaster.com in the pursuit of good tickets
(heh U2 tour comes to mind recently)

Regular web browsing does not see that much of a speed increase, except maybe from the improved latency...
