Now that some people have had thier E8xxx for a little while, has anyone noticed any degredation? I have read the articles on the subject, but none contain specific stories of it. All of them say "We have heard stories of" or "there are reports of".

Basically I am interested in the members putting ~1.4v into thier wolfie/yorkie. I need almost that to get to 4ghz, but have been hesitant to go over 1.3v. Although I have no problems @ 3.6ghz, the 4ghz mark is just too tempting.

I've ran my E8400 since late January at 3.9Ghz (433x9) with 1.34v (set in BIOS) and 1.26v (vDroop loaded) on a IP-35E. Granted, my voltages aren't extreme, but I haven't noticed any degradation or instability.

blueweasel, what bios are you using? my ip35 e with a Q9450 only has .06 vdroop on bios 16. the ip35 e shipped with bios 15b02, however, which had .12 vdroop.

I'm actually still running a beta of BIOS 14. I did see that BIOS 17 did just come out. I've really just been too lazy to update, as 14 has worked great for me (less the large Vdroop).
