I had an 8:00 final for Economics of Government & Business. Its a Small class about 10 people. So about 2 minutes into the test one guys phone goes off, the prof tells him to take his test and desk to the hall and finish test, the guy didn't move. About a minute later the phone goes off again. The prof says for him to leave his test was over, and when the prof(who is handicapped) got up from his desk and took his paper from him.

The prof said this wasn't the first time this guy did this in one of his classes (but the first time for this class) and the discussion was over and the guy should leave, he didn't he just sat there asking the prof for more of an explanation. When one wasn't coming he got up and walked up to the desk and stood there. The prof then got up and went to the hall and discussed it, prof came back in, guy stayed out in the hall talking to someone (another prof I think). He came back in and sat down and stared at the prof. After about 10 minutes the prof gets up and then goes and sits at the back of the room. When I left the guy was still there.

I think if he would have left right away the prof might have left him take it later, but staying he just screwed himself. What a way to end a college career on (mine not his).

Cell phones have absolutely no place in a classroom. Good effin riddance to him!

Actually in this day and age, you never know what might happen. Whats to stop that student from taking a gun to that professor later? Most offices are minimally staffed at night. One gunshot in a deserted floor, no one would ever notice.

Given that most buildings don't have cameras, fingerprints from hundreds of students, professors that stay late, etc. I'm suprised it doesn't happen more often.

The worst thing is he wouldn't leave when asked to, that was more distacting then the phone.

the most inconsiderate thing I've ever seen someone do is answer their phone when it rang in class and explain that they're in class (in a tone suggesting that it's inconsiderate to call them...). Almost got up and smacked the kid right there.

Everyone in the class should have jumped him and beat him to death. He probably had "time out" as a child.
