Now that Harris is the nominee, are we there yet?

A journey through 'are we there yet' thread history:

Will Kamala Harris finally and at last be the one to take out the trash? All I know is that shit turns to fertilizer eventually and that my mind has begun to enjoy second childhood thoughts as to what will happen to the Republican clown car if Harris manages to step on the eject button that triggers the spring under the driver's seat and Trump sails into the air like Dumbo with a big hole in one of his wings.

Hoping too @BonzaiDuck is around to see it. I feel for his rage.

We're off to a good start. All I can say for now. I still remember the backlash to Obama in 2016.

Nope. Up to the Repugican party to clean up their mess. Pence could have 25A him. McConnell could have removed him twice and applied 14A on him. Haley while speaking a good game caved to loyal orange butt kisser.

That's the trick Moonie.
Trump isn't the trash. Trump is the smell rising up from the trash. Swat it away, and we're still in deep !@#$.
Try and paint me a picture where the GOP is any better than Trump. I am not seeing it.

Nikki Haley is suing a group of Nikki Haley voters who have now switched to Nikki Haley supporters for Kamala, 'Haley Voters for Harris' and Haley wants her name gone from that. They have raised over 400K so far. They are not claiming Haley is endorsing Harris, but they are. Fuck you Nikki!

Hmmm, I thought the law says campaigns are not supposed to give directives to PACs?

I don't see what your point here has to do with what I said, not that I necessarily disagree with you have said. My major quibble with you is your pessimistic opinion that we are born evil rather than that we simply act that because of being programmed to. I say that the real truth is that our basic and true real nature conforms to the proposition that we were created in the image of God, or that, alternatively, we invented God to reflect our inner true nature. It really does not matter which is it’s the actual truth because both amount to the same thing.

My point was intended to suggest that Trump gave permission for all the disgust that self haters feel for themselves and used to be considered too taboo to express publicly he made OK to express. At long last and perhaps just maybe Trumps long diseased reign of terror has met with an alternative more favorable to the American people and the end of him is in sight, that what he made
OK to express is finally being recognized for the ugliness it has always been. I am just having fun imagining what Republicans will turn to next if the ugliness they thought would be loves by the people the proves not to be the case. I mean the rats, rather than abandoning a shitty sinking ship, congregated there instead in a parliament of egotistical turds, instead of fleeing while there was time to do so and instead may actually treat us to a magnificent fireworks display of an exploding ship spewing rat guts everywhere. I can dream.

We create what we fear, sometimes in spectacular ways.

It's awesome that an appointed candidate is going to be the savior of democracy.

Much better to vote for team fascism, right?

And let's be honest, if the GOP did what the Democrats are doing with Biden/Harris you wouldn't give a single fuck either, but you wouldn't be a conservative if you didn't have double standards, so nobody's surprised by your faux concern.

I am glad you share my sense that Harris over Trump will be a very good thing for the country if not the world especially since at Trump's extremely advanced age he's showing such clear signs of dementia.

So you think Trump and or the GOP would... behave better if... if what, they lose an election?
Uhh..... Jan 6th, 2021 may already hold the answer to this topic.

I believe she will. The wave building against Team Treason is impressive, they're going to get wrecked IMO.

Trump has the worst record of any modern 'president,' shouldn't be running as per the Constitution, and now wears Project 2025 around his bloated, orange, vulva-like neck.

Can't wait for the expressions and general mewling from magats when Dear Leader agrees to a debate and gets absolutely mauled. Or maybe he'll puss out, on account of being a low IQ, sexist coward with dementia. Anyone who impresses Harris enough to be her veep will likely smack the tubby shit out that shillbilly (nice one Raskin).

I’m saying that Harris will win if enough voters are tired enough of the ugly emotions that Trump gave approval to express, which I believe to be the case. I have hope she will win. Not enough people in this country are ready to cast their life’s work and money away for the sake of Armageddon. Just my opinion.

I’m having fun imagining where the Republican Party goes next if I’m right. Is it his turn to be thrown under the bus? Maybe the Orange Race becomes the new target of bigotry.

Looking at the poles this morning, the 4 I looked at all showed Harris and Trump just about even. It's interesting to me that there was so much chatter about Harris not being liked, but none of that translated to the current poles. It seems that the election is more about Trump hate than Harris popularity.

Harris is energizing younger voters, the exact same ones that are underrepresented in the polling.

Not sure what these are telling you about the election. Are they transmitting to the 5g chip in your brain?

The magat fiction they're trying to convince themselves of is pretty funny. Must be some badly beat up feels to get them to ignore how the polls have let them down every election since the insurrection. Was Trump's incredibly nonsensical speech that disheartening for you guys? Here I thought they were used to his verbal diarrhea.

Dems have disarmed Team Treason of their Biden narratives while Harris' choice of VP has stolen the spotlight Trump wanted for his shillbilly. Trump doubled down on the feckless beta cuck platform. Now I kind of want Kamala to double down too. Pick Whitmer.

Two qualified, sharp women without criminal records vs. a fascist traitor/convicted felon with dementia and his beta couchfucker. Yes, those poor, poor Dems. And with all that money coming in too :tearsofjoy:
