Winmx has changed a lot - for the better. I use 3.2, and it works great for high-bitrate files.
BTW, I tried edonkey, but even after letting it sit for almost an hour, it still wasn't able to connect, so I just gave up on it.

Yes. It now supports multi sourced downloading, I've gotten well over 100KB/s on some files.

Nope. still the same crap. Give it a try though, maybe it'll work better for you.

I can't even figure out how to use Winmx. I know I'm a moron. I do what it tells me and I try to search in the little search box, but when it starts searching it just sits there. It doesn't crash or anything, because I can still stop it, but it just sits. I even let it sit and search for about 20 min before I came back and it was still not doing anything. What am I doing wrong???

I'm surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet.....................Oh that's right, posts about downloading copyrighted music is allowed on these forums but copyrighted software is a no no.
I just can't understand the logic of that.

Note:I have nothing against downloading mp3's,I just don't understand why it's not frowned on like it is the second someone brings up software that they downloaded. It's the same thing if you don't own the original.
