Now that Android has the WebOS guy for design...

When do you think we will see Android, in terms of visuals, start looking much more slick and polished? The only think I like about the iphone/ipad etc is that all the apps and systems interfaces looks real sharp and high quality.

I really like WebOS over all of them and I am hoping with this new guy on the Android team stuff will start looking better.

I think Google recognizes that Android's UI HAS to improve if it wants to compete at the corporate level. HTC does some better things with it with their SenseUI, but it's still putting polish on a turd basically.

The corporate level? Corporations are used to Windows Mobile and Blackberry, neither of which wins any awards for UI design.
